The Ora-Aid patch is a non-eugenol material designed to protect intraoral wounds.
Used in the oral cavity to cover various wounds and ulcers.
- Promotes healing after intraoral surgeries;
- Adheres to open wounds and sutures;
- Adheres to oral ulcers;
- Protects postoperative sutures from trauma caused by the tongue;
- Protects against injuries from orthodontic devices;
- Protects teeth coated with fluoride varnish or in cases of enamel hypersensitivity;
- Prevents reinfection and accelerates tissue regeneration;
- Peppermint flavor refreshes the mouth after surgical procedures;
- Assists in hemostasis.
The patch consists of two layers: an adhesive layer and a protective layer. After application, the adhesive layer demonstrates strong adhesion and hydrates well on the mucosa. This layer is a water-soluble polymer that reacts with moisture (water and saliva) in the mouth within 20–30 seconds, transforming into a gel. The adhesive properties of the material allow the patch to stay in place for 2–4 hours (depending on oral conditions). The top (protective) layer is made of a water-insoluble polymer that covers and shields the wound from the environment (bacteria, saliva, food, etc.).
The product is transparent and can be cut to the required size and shape.
Key components: purified water, povidone (to neutralize toxins), Vitamin E (antioxidant, tissue regeneration, wound healing, anti-inflammatory effect), glycerin (moisturizing), peppermint flavor.
For single-use only. Reuse may cause infection, cross-contamination, or inflammation.
